Welcome to Eastbourne Chess Club
Eastbourne Chess Club is a friendly, welcoming club that is open to all. We participate in the Sussex Chess League, run in-house tournaments and events, and play casual games amongst ourselves.
Meeting every Friday* from 19:30 and we invite new members and anyone interested in chess to join us, from beginners to masters! Your first 3 weeks are free with no obligation to join. We also run junior sessions for all ages under 18 from 18:15 to 19:30 each week*, with one initial free coaching session available.
*Please note that there will be no club night for either adults or juniors until we move to our new venue The Lion Works on Sidley Road. This has been postponed due to building works at the site, and is subject to further change, so currently the club is suspended until further notice
